Secretary’s report: Approval of minutes as printed on website, passed unanimously
EMCOMM: Roy: March 19 meeting at library. Approved bylaws last month. Roy displayed ARES recently acquired portable 2M radio with tripod, antenna, 100’ cable, power supply and case.
FIELD DAY: Jim: Field Day location: Madawaska Lake Fire Station, Emergency Management office. They will do the local cooking. Use their facilities, generator. Tents and campers are fine. Intent for move was to entice Ham operators in Northern part of the county to participate with our group. Testing on site at 16:00.

- Public Information officer: Jim Cerrato KC5UEQ. All public relations should go through Jim.
- Would like a Ham Radio day at library after outdoor 2M antenna is set up. Perhaps in the Fall.
- New Extra Class Question Pool effective July 1, 2016

AARA meeting:
The April AARA meeting will be held on April 7th at the Presque Isle library at 6:00 PM. David Deschesne, KB1EBG will give the scheduled presentation on Schumann Resonance,
Amateur Radio License testing:
Amateur radio licensing examinations will be offered in Presque Isle on Monday, April 11th at the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library, 39 2nd St and will start at 6:00 PM. Walk-ins will be accepted. Examinees must have 2 forms of positive identification and their Social Security number. Licensed amateurs trying to upgrade must have in their possession the original license and a clear photocopy of each. Contact the team VE leader in advance if special exam facilities are required or proposed. The cost is $15.00 (exact cash please). For further information contact Steve, N1NXU@maine.rr.com
