Treasurer’s report: $2,745.32 bank balance; Christmas dinner total 646.11; paid liability insurance: $425.00 on Dec. 24, 2015

Secretary’s report: There wasn’t any December meeting.

President’s report:
– Tech manuals available.
– New Extra Class question pool starts July 1, 2016.
– General Class pool good through 2019.
– Still seeking programs for upcoming meetings.
– Christmas party good at Keddy’s. Complaints: food & service. Food bad quality. Northeastland had good food. Looking into alternate locations.
– Tabulating ARRL membership for better insurance rates. Pres. Shapiro to cease this avenue unless request from members are forthcoming.
– Looking into establishing classes at PI Library for Ham classes.

Committee Reports:

Ex. Comm. – none –

Em. Comm. 26 Members. Not much done over last two months. Roy’s been keeping rosters updated and phone numbers/email current. Have meeting next week, Jan 16 9:00 a.m. at PI Library. Special guest from ACSO.

Old Business: Steve Vance, PI Library agreed to mounting antenna on South corner of building for use of club.

New Business:
– Roy Woods KB1WGN reported on dog sled races. They would like to be able to link their repeater to AARA repeater via UHF for the purposes of linking to rest of State. Club does not seem to have the interest in supporting such an undertaking.
– Roy says Fort Kent club having hard time finding manpower for dog sled racing communication due to attrition. Seeking help from AARA.

– Motion made by Jim Cerrato to acquire sidewalls for Field Day tent for under $100. Seconded by Roy Woods. Motion carried unanimously. Roy to get sidewalls and get bill for club.

AARA meeting:
Next meeting of the AROOSTOOK AMATEUR RADIO ASSOCIATION will be held Thursday, February 4th at 6:00 PM (18:00 EST, 23:00 UTC) at the Presque Isle Library. The program will be provided by Dave, KB1EBG, and he will explain Schumann Resonance.
